Our Partner Held Interactive Environmental Education Sessions for Preschoolers

29/11/2023

The Planetrise Cultural and Environmental Association recently held playful environmental education sessions for kindergarten children. As a participant in the Hierotheos Association's program titled "Awareness Raising, Education, Consciousness," the Association visited several kindergartens over the past few days to deliver engaging sessions on waste recycling and reuse.

At four different locations—Nyíradony, Debrecen, Hajdúdorog, and Nyíregyháza—the children were given hands-on demonstrations of selective waste collection.

The sessions also covered the impact of waste on both the natural and built environment, as well as the importance and possibilities of recycling and reusing materials. According to the Association's report, the preschoolers preparing for school were curious, engaged, and demonstrated their knowledge not only during the discussions but also through colorful and playful activity sheets. As a reward, the groups received selective waste-sorting board games as gifts.
